About Kate Luce Bourgeois

Kate Luce Bourgeois is the President and CEO of Mississippi Export Railroad Company, a 97-year-old freight railroad and transportation services company. Prior to this role, she worked in a variety of operational roles at Mississippi Export, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Kate has a BSBA from Auburn University in Supply Chain Management and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she was a recipient of the Keohane Leadership Award. She is a board member for the North American Rail Shippers Association (NARS), Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Mississippi Economic Council. Kate lives in Mobile, AL.
