NARS 2020 Annual Meeting Cancellation
Every year, we look forward to connecting with our rail shipping community at the NARS Annual Meeting and sharing insight from industry leaders who help craft the future that we’re building together. Given the growing concerns around COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the NARS Annual Meeting scheduled next month in Kansas City.
The NARS meeting is an important networking and education event for the transportation industry, and it’s one of our favorite ways to bring together members from across our five regional associations including NEARS, SEARS, SWARS, MARS and PNWARS, but we need to prioritize the health and safety of our members, staff and all those who contribute to this meeting.
The next NARS Annual Meeting will be held in Chicago September 7-9, 2021 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. Once again we are partnering with The Traffic Club of Chicago as it hosts its Annual Dinner the night of September 8, 2021.
We are tremendously grateful to our sponsors, exhibitors and attendees who have already registered for NARS 2020. In particular, we are grateful to Kansas City Southern for offering to host the 2020 meeting in Kansas City. We plan to return to Kansas City in 2022.
