The Southeast Association of Rail Shippers serves a diverse
membership in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana,
Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee,
Virginia and West Virginia. Members represent such areas as
heavy and light industry, mining, consumer products, forest
products, agriculture, port operations and service organizations.
Meetings are held twice a year in the spring and fall at various
locations in the assigned territory. Topics of discussion
are selected by members and cover a cross section of interests.
Meetings are well attended by members and various levels of
rail management of both major and short line railroads. Annual
dues are $85.
